This app is designed for tablet use in the field for comfort advisors to verify the existing home’s total load and to give credit for any energy savings upgrades since the existing system was installed. In most cases the existing equipment was oversized and energy saving upgrades like windows and insulation will result in a lower size replacement unit and the benefits are less installed and operating costs. This app is only effective on block loads for existing home replacements where room-by-room loads are not required in accordance with ACCA Manual J.
